I placed an order for a jacket on November 6.On the website there would be a back order until November 11.

Thats fine, no problem. After no communication for three weeks (after confirmation order), i finally received an email on the 30th stating my order could not be fulfilled because at the time I ordered the item was no longer in stock. So not only was I not notified in a timely manner but this order was a gift for a friend. I called customer service and they did jack *** about it.

The woman I talk to had an attitude about it.

There was no sort of compensation that was offered for terrible service and complete lack of communication.Will not be shopping there anymore.

Review about: Nordstrom Customer Care.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $150.

Preferred solution: compensation for value of jacket .

Let me get this straight.....so you want them to give you $150 for a jacket you never even paid for???It was on backorder, then they e-mailed you to say they are sorry, but the jacket is no longer available.

YOU didn't bother to check your e-mail until it had been a while. But it's their fault, right?? Lol.

Things happen....you were never charged.Suck it up, butter cup!
