Nordstrom - In business since 1901. Still can’t figure out inventory

Nordstrom keeps cancelling my orders because they don’t actually have the items that they let me pay for. They just keep my money for a week and then cancel my order. Call customer service and basically get told I’m SOL. Thanks for nothing x3.
