I went to purchase a pair of designer sunglasses at the Nordstrom Rack in Canoga Park. The Store Manager insinuated that I had changed the price tag, in front of a long line of customers and then inspected every item that I was purchasing to see if the prices were altered on the rest of my purchase or not. I LOVE Nordstrom, my favorite store hands down. But.....we spent 5 hours today on the phone attempting to purchase airline tickets. Our cost went up $400 in the 5 hours we were put off. Nordstrom finally called us to ask if we've been trying to make our purchase. I even called earlier to check my account status which stated I had more than enough. Today I went to the Annapolis, Md store. I was there to purchase a couple of items and also to return an item. I purchased a Michael Korrs leather IPad case from the store about 5 months ago. I ordered a pair of shoes from The Rack. That part went well until I realized that they sent the wrong color. The real problem is there email. I now get ads everyday. I've made NINE requests to be removed from their list. There is no way to remove yourself. I get a message that they will contact me within 24-48 hours. 3 weeks later, 9 requests, NOTHING. ZIP. I believe Nordstrom is luring shoppers to their website with incredible offers they have no intention of fulfilling. In the last week or two I have received cancellations on three occasions. Each time, I was able to choose the merchandise, put it into my shopping cart, enter my information and get confirmation. Then, a few days go by and then I get a notice of cancellation. Most difficult to deal with and customer Un Friendly. The concern does not respond to the contact options in a timely manner and ignores attempted customer communication found inconvenient. Horrible experience at Nordstrom San Francisco center. I ordered customized bow and drape sweatshirt during the private event on a Tuesday. I mentioned wanting it shipped but the salesperson did not know how to do that. She instructed me to communicate through text since that's how you confirm completion of order. We bought a classic Chanel bag from Nordstrom Portland 2 days ago and back home in California, finding that the bag right inside is damaged.
