Nordstrom, Inc. is a well-known chain of department stores in the United States. The company was established by John W. Nordstrom. Originally it was a shoe retailer. At the present time, the company also offers clothing, cosmetics, accessories, jewelry, fragrances, handbags and even home furnishings. It offers lower prices than Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, or Bloomingdale's.

The corporate office of Nordstrom as well as the flagship store is headquartered in Downtown Seattle, Washington. Nordstrom has become a nationwide fashion specialty retailer. Fortune magazine put Nordstrom in its list at No. 72 among 100 Best Companies to Work For 2009. Sufficient customer service is the life force of the business. You can offer sales and gifts to customers to attract them as many as possible, but unless you can make some of them to come back, your business won't bring you profit for long. And that is the direct job of good customer service. As well as serve them and leave them happy and satisfied enough to send positive feedback and customer reviews about your business among the others, who probably afterwards try your product or service for themselves and in their turn become repeat customers. In any case, customers will judge a company by what it does, not what it says.
